Bradley Cooper is 'The Man from Primrose Lane'

Deadline has learned some exciting news today about Bradley Cooper’s (“Silver Linings Playbook”) next few projects.

Over at WB a spy/thriller called “Dark Invasion” is being developed for him to star, and now author James Renner’s mystery novel “The Man from Primrose Lane” is being adapted for Cooper to headline.

WB seems to have a thing for Cooper, whose next film with the studio hits theaters later this year (“The Hangover Part 3”), and he seems content on letting the studio use his talent to muscle around competing films.

The story centers on a true crime writer who becomes obsessed with investigating a serial killer known as “the man with a thousand mittens.” As he becomes further embroiled in the case, he realizes that in order to capture the killer he must look outside the parameters of what he believed to be true about time and space.

On some level his character reminds me of the one he played in the ill-fated “Midnight Meat Train” (did anyone see that besides me?).

This certainly sounds like an interesting film, and Cooper has already proven he is more than capable of headlining a film so sign me up for this.
