Bradford Primary Celebrates "Get Active, Get Fit" Win with Radio Disney Party

More than 300 Bradford Primary students turned out on Monday for a Radio Disney dance party to celebrate winning the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield "Get Active Get Fit" Challenge. To successfully complete the Challenge, students had to be active via any activity of their choice at least 20 minutes a day for a minimum of 40 of the 55 days during the Oct. 1-Nov. 24, 2012, contest period. More than 32,000 students across the state participated and 20 Colorado schools won dance parties - and Bradford Primary had the highest participation rate of any school in the state. Lead by the Radio Disney 1690 AM road crew, Bradford Primary students danced for more than an hour to their favorite pop tunes.

This is Anthem’s second year sponsoring the “Get Active, Get Fit” challenge, which was designed to motivate kids and families to achieve fitness together by engaging in fun activities.
