The Bradenton Marauders, have announced the schedule of promotional events for the 2013 season.

Every Sunday home game is a Dollar Day, featuring $1 tickets and $1 hot dogs. After the game, all kids 13 and younger will get to run the bases during the Kids Fun Run.

Monday nights are now Silverauders Night. Fans age 60 and older can join the Silverauders club for $30 and receive a free game ticket, free meal voucher, and a postgame Seniors Stroll around the bases at every Monday game. Monday night will also feature Baseball Bingo.

Tuesdays, the First Mates Kids Club members are the guests of honor. Kids 13 and under can join the club for $15 to receive a free game ticket, meal voucher, and a special giveaway or experience at every Tuesday game. Also on Tuesdays, the Bradenton Herald is giving fans two tickets for the price of one. The Sunday edition of the Bradenton Herald will contain a coupon for the two-for-one deal prior to each Tuesday home. A second round of Baseball Bingo will take place on Tuesday nights. After Tuesday games there will be a Kids Fun Run for all kids 13 and younger to circle the bases.

Thirsty Thursdays gives fans a chance to fill up their cups without emptying out their wallets. Sodas and select draft beers will cost just $1. Marauders season ticket holders can join the Thirsty Thursday Club for just $10.

Happy Hour Fridays kick the weekend off. The first 500 hot dogs are free and there will be drink specials provided from 5:30-6:30pm.

The Marauders play their home opener on Friday, April 5, against the Fort Myers Miracle. It is Bright House Networks Customer Appreciation Night. Bright House Networks customers can present their billing statement for free admission to the game. After the game, a fireworks display kicks off a series of five fireworks nights at McKechnie Field this season. The others will be on May 17, June 22, July 2 and August 31. The Marauders are offering a special ticket package for fireworks lovers this season. The package includes a ticket to all five fireworks games and a pass to watch all five post-game fireworks shows from the field.

The Marauders Concert Series begins on Saturday, April 13 when Pitbull Toddler rocks Bradenton. Disco Inferno will perform on Friday, April 19, when the Marauders hold 70’s Night. Two more concerts are on tap for May. First, on Friday, May 10, The Island Boys will perform on Island Night. Friday, May 31 is halfway to Halloween, and Top 40 cover band Zombie University will be haunting the stage postgame. The Marauders Concert Series concludes on Friday, June 21 with 80’s Night, featuring a postgame concert by SuperBot.

Five Marauders games have been designated for Bark in the Park. Fans can bring their dogs to Bark in the Park games for a $2 donation to the Humane Society of Manatee County. Bark in the Park will be held on April 28, May 31, June 30, July 18, and August 16.

In addition to Halfway to Halloween, the Marauders will celebrate several other holidays, including a pregame Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 7, a patriotic Independence Day celebration on Tuesday, July 2, Christmas in July on Saturday, July 20, and Half Way to St. Patty’s Day on Thursday, August 8.

Several popular promotions of seasons past return in 2013. Ketchup and Mustard do battle again on Thursday, May 9 in Condiment Duel III. First Baptist Church of Bradenton presents Faith and Family Night on Friday, May 17. Saturday, May 18 is Armed Forces Day, featuring a Camo Hat giveaway and free admission for anyone presenting a valid military ID. Hurricane Awareness Night on Thursday, May 23 will help educate fans to prepare for storm season. The Marauders will don 1920’s style Bradenton Growers uniforms on Saturday, June 1 for Turn Back the Clock Night. Babies on Deck will feature a Marauders Baby Bib giveaway. The Marauders will wear pink jerseys for the annual “Get Your Pink On!” sponsored by Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in partnership with ABC 7.

Two 10:00 a.m. games are scheduled this year at McKechnie Field, Education Day on Wednesday, May 1 and Summer Camp Day on Wednesday, July 24. Marauders games start at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with Sunday games set for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch in the first half of the season. Sunday, April 28 and all second half Sunday games will start at 5:00pm.
