It appears Brad Pitt has decided to make an investment in making his next movie more realistic than the imagination may have predicted possible. IBN Live reported on Dec. 3, 2013, Pitt wants prisoners as movie extras in his new film "Fury." It's true, Pitt wants to hire real prison inmates as extras for his film.
Pitt, at 49 years old, is presently shooting scenes for "Fury" in Chilterns, south east England, at a location which is just yards away from a high security men's prison, The Mount, in Hertfordshire. Pitt is said to have been fascinated that the prison with 800 prisoners, is so close to where he's been working. He has asked for a visit to The Mount.
Pitt has asked director David Ayers to find out if any of the prisoners could be used as extras as part of their
rehabilitation and educational program. This is an interesting type of philanthropic initiative by Pitt. He does not appear to be nervous about the severity of some of the crimes the prisoners have committed. Pitt appears to always be trying to improve things and help out wherever he sees possibilities. Although Pitt is sharing a belief in trying to give people second chances, he should nevertheless be careful not to get hurt.
CanIndia has confirmed Pitt wants to have prisoners hired as movie extras. If the prisoners are offered this opportunity they should take Pitt up on it. Can you imagine having the hope of someday possibly being able to move out of The Mount prison to a mansion with swimming pools and jacuzzis in Hollywood, after making a fortune in movies. Pitt may be offering this hope to some prisoners. It just goes to show you some people with the most refreshing attitudes who have the financial means to go into politics fail to do so. It would certainly be interesting to learn what other enlightening ideas Pitt has about needed reforms in the world.
