Brad Pitt to visit China after being banned

Brad Pitt has got the internet and China in particular, chattering once again. The star who has been banned from China since filming "Seven Years In Tibet" has hinted that he may be reterning to the country. The star joined China's version of twitter Sina Weibo, and updated it with “It is the truth. Yup, I’m coming…” (EW, Jan 7)

After "Seven Years In Tibet" was released, The People Republic of China condemned the movie and said the Chinese military was portrayed in a bad light. Director Jean-Jacques Annaud and stars Brad Pitt and David Thewlis were all banned from the country.

Despite the ban. Pitt has many fans and his movie tend to do very well. Annaud's ban was lifted so there is a good chance Pitts will be as well. No word yet on whether Angelina and the troops are packing their bags to make the trip with him.
