Brad Pitt talked about balancing an acting career that takes him on the road and the most important role of being a father to his and Angelina Jolie’s six children, according to an Oct. 24 report in Express UK. Brad has been in Vancouver filming a new movie, "Fury", which is about American tanks in Nazi Europe.
Well, we are lucky. Most of the time we travel together. We are used to the chaos when you have to go around the world, and we always try to turn into an adventure,” Pitt said.
But when I do have to travel alone, I always try to rush back to my family. I miss them when I am on the road."
The Daily Mail reported that Brad took his twins, Knox and Vivienne, to Windsor’s Legoland in September. According to eyewitnesses at the amusement park, Pitt waited in line like everyone else, exemplifying his humility, despite his superstar status.
Brad revealed the reason for making “World War Z” was motivated by his desire to show his work to his children. He went on to say that he identified with the film's theme of family.
I wanted to make a film my sons could actually see before they get old and as you will see, we got a little carried away … Obviously everything in this film is a little over the top. But the fear of a parent - to lose his family, that’s real; I think everybody can relate to that," Pitt explained.
Brad Pitt is filming “Fury” in Vancouver, and “World War Z” is currently available in DVD and Blu Ray.
