Brad Pitt still gets "pretty good" hash (video)

It’s probably time for the maid to change the water in Brad Pitt’s bong.

On Friday night’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Brad Pitt told Maher that he doesn’t smoke pot anymore, stating: “I’ve got kids now.”

Unfortunately, it seems that Inglourious Basterds writer/director Quentin Tarantino didn’t get the memo.  Tarantino appeared in-studio on The Howard Stern Show on Monday morning, and delighted co-hosts and listeners with his tale of smoking hash in France with the curious Benjamin Button himself.

Quentin Tarantino said that he and Brad Pitt “hashed out” the details for Pitt’s Inglourious Bastards role at Pitt’s estate in France while Angelina Jolie was still in a local hospital recovering from giving birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in July 2008.  Quentin Tarantino told Howard Stern that Brad Pitt’s hash was “pretty good” quality, and that Pitt deftly transformed a Coke can into a makeshift bong so that the two could enjoy the hash at full strength.

So—was the international incident Brad Pitt’s last time behind the wheel of a weed-filled Coke can?  Probably not.  Although Pitt told Bill Maher that he’d given up marijuana to raise children, in the same interview, Brad Pitt stated that if he ever ran for office, he would run on a pro-gay-marriage/legalize marijuana platform.

Tarantino is a jerk for busting out his friend. I didn't hear Pitt deny marijuana use in that clip though. He said something like that it "turns him into a donut" now. Later Mahar asked why he gave it up and Pitt said something about having kids now and needing to be alert. Mahar is the one who said Pitt gave it up. Pitt just didn't correct him. I can't say as I blame Pitt for that being as how marijuana is illegal and it's the sort of thing they can actually take your kids from you for doing these days. And maybe he doesn't smoke pot now. The thing with Tarantino was more than year ago. The Mahar interview was a couple of days ago. And if he does smoke it and does deny it in public, I don't blame him. So would I.

How sad that a guy like Brad Pitt still thinks doing drugs is ok or cool. Maybe he really is the loser I thougt he was.

How sad that people like sherri Kaufman want to be crime examiner thinks smoking marijuana is doing drugs marijuana is far less harmful then alcohol and no one is calling to re instate the Volstead act if he was doing cocaine or heroin I would agree but the prohibition of marijuana is archaic, insane and a travesty against the people of this country. It is estimated that the failed prohibition of marijuana cost 40 billion dollars a year for interdiction, prosecution, and incarceration of otherwise honest law abiding citizens threw invasive unconstitutional drug testing while we release rapist and murderers due to prison overcrowding and lock up good people for enjoying their own form of recreational intoxication what kind of madness is that. decriminalize marijuana or reinstate the alcohol prohibition you cannot argue for one and not the other. quit persecuting good people

It's funny that people actually make a big deal about smoking weed or hash. Good for Brad, with all those kids I'm sure he needs an occasional hash break. I don't think Tarantino was trying to "bust his friend", Howard Stern is just the best. Howards gets people to relax and have a normal conversation. Next thing they know, thier telling personal stories and not thinking twice. This isn't the first time a Stern interview made national news.

BTW - Inglourious Basterds is great! Grab your hashpipe and head to the theater.

Hey try actually listening to the interview before you distort the truth. He never said Brad Pitt smoked hash with him he said Brad took a knife and cut him of a sliver of hash to go, he then asked for a pipe and he handed him a coke can to make a pipe out of.He never said he smoked out with Brad.
