Brad Pitt calls Tom Cruise's Nazi film "ridiculous"

Just to be clear, Brad Pitt does not think all Nazi films are created equal. Usmagazine.com reports that when asked about Tom Cruise's Valkyrie, the Inglorious Basterds star told the German press, "It was a ridiculous movie."

As for the Quentin Tarantino-directed film in which he stars, Pitt said, "The second World War could still deliver more stories and films, but I believe that Quentin put a cover on that pot. With Basterds, everything than can be said to this genre has been said...The film destroys every symbol. The work is done, end of story."

Take that, Cruise.
