Jolie’s wedding dress designed by Luigi Massi from Atelier Versace got some help from Brad and Angelina’s six children as the master tailor sewed their children’s favorite drawings onto her wedding dress and veil.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Jolie said, according to People. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

The hush hush wedding was performed at the chapel on the grounds of the couple’s 100-acre estate Château Miraval, in France on August 23 that according to People magazine, included around 20 family members and friends.

Angelina’s famous father, actor Jon Voight was not invited to the wedding and according to several sources didn't know about the wedding until after it was over. Not a surprise for anyone who knows about Angelina and her father’s stormy relationship over the years.

According to a released statement from Angelina and Brad, each child had a special role to play in their parents wedding. Eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, escorted Angelina down the aisle; Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6 were the two flower girls tossing rose petals from their own garden. The ring bearers were Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6. The children also helped to write their parents’ vows and had a hand in baking their wedding cake.

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple told People magazine. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

Some of the details previous to the wedding were also revealed in a statement by the couple. "In the days before coming to France, and as citizens of California, Brad and Angelina filled out their paperwork and obtained a marriage license from a local judge, who also traveled to France to conduct the ceremony at Château Miraval. They are therefore married under Californian law."

It will be a working honeymoon in Malta just down the street from the actors home as the couple shoots their new movie “By the Sea” that according to Us Weekly will include some “crazy sex scenes” as they play a married couple in the movie.

The couple first showed their on screen chemistry when Jolie and Pitt met and fell in love on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” in 2005 when Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston.
