Brad Paisley shows his support for Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has made a statement with the recent release of her new single “Shake It Off” which followed the announcement from Swift that a full blown pop album is on the way. E! News reported on Aug. 29, 2014 that Brad Paisley discussed Swift’s new music and showed his support of her new sound and the direction she is taking now with her musical career.

Paisley has been a busy boy himself lately. Paisley wrapped up the first season of “Rising Star” which included a performance on the finale with the four finalists on the show where he sat on the panel of experts along with Ludacris and Kesha. Paisley has also been having fun with the release of his own new album titled “Moonshine in the Trunk” which includes his latest hit titled “Riverbank.”

Paisley was celebrating at a release party for his ninth album when he talked about Swift’s new music. Swift’s latest song has skyrocketed to the top earning the number one position on Billboard Artist 100 list. "Shake It Off" also made it to the top spot on the Digital Songs chart with 544,000 downloads sold in the first week earning the new title for the biggest weekly total for a song this year.

Paisley showed his support for Swift’s new music by saying Swift "has this vision for who she wants to be going forward" and complimented Swift for "saying in a risky way, I am going to evolve beyond what you know me for already.” Paisley added "People are going to have to get used to it cause it’s not the Taylor Swift obviously that you knew."

Paisley discussed Swift’s new sound that was introduced to her fans with her new single “Shake It Off” by saying "People are going to love it,” adding “It's going to sell, and it already is selling. She has done a great job." Paisley continued by saying “She is just not Nashville's, and we just have to kind of get used to that." Swift’s new album “1989” is set arrive on October 27, 2014.
