Brad Paisley has written “The Ballad of Honey Boo Boo,” he told Jimmy Kimmel, the host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday, Jan. 9, Taste of Country reported.
A straight-faced Brad told host Jimmy Kimmel, “It’s very exciting.” Paisley received some incredibly inspired lyrics from “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” including the lyrics, “She’s on the loose/Filled with balls of cheese and go-go juice” and “An American hero down to the core/She eats her meals right off of the floor.” In the video for the “The Ballad of Honey Boo Boo” Paisley intersperses himself into actual clips from the show, with equally hysterical results.
Paisley also announced the name of his new CD “Wheelhouse” which features the song “Southern Comfort Zone.”
Paisley may be best known for his duets with two of the biggest ladies of country music, Allison Kraus and Carrie Underwood. Paisley recorded “Whiskey Lullaby” with Alison Kraus. The video featured Rick Schroder, best known for his work in the movie “The Champ,” as well as his stint on “NYPD Blue.”
Brad Paisley also recorded “Remind Me,” a duet with Carrie Underwood, with whom Paisley has hosted the CMA Awards.
Paisley has a knack for getting celebrities to appear in his videos. The iconic actor William Shatner, famous for his role as Capt. James T. Kirk on “Star Trek,” appeared in Paisley’s video “Celebrity.”
Country music icon Little Jimmy Dickens, “The Bachelorette” Trista Rehn Sutter and Jason Alexander, famous for his role as George Constanza on “Seinfeld” also appeared in Paisley’s “Celebrity.”
Television icon Andy Griffith appeared in Brad’s video “Waiting on a Woman.”
Brad Paisley married to actress Kimberly Williams Paisley on March 15, 2003. The couple has two sons, William Huckleberry “Huck”, almost 6-years-old and Jasper Warren, almost four-years-old. Kimberly appeared in the Brad Paisley videos “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and “Little Moments."
Other celebrities who appeared in Paisley's video "I'm Gonna Miss Her" include former ESPN anchor Dan Patrick, talk show host Jerry Springer and country music legend Little Jimmy Dickens.
