Saturday, February 8, 2014: Pedaling the Prairie, starts at Waller County Fairgrounds, Hempstead (northwest of Houston via US 290). Distances from 24 to 71 miles. Benefits Faith West Academy.

Sunday, February 9, 2014: Bike for Little Heroes, starts at Zube Park near Hockley (northwest of Houston via US 290). Distances of about 20, 35, 54 and 73 miles. Benefits Red White and Bike.

Saturday, February 15, 2014: Humble Lions Ride, starts in Humble (north-northeast of Houston via US 59). Distances of 22, 46.5 and 51.1 miles. Benefits Humble Lions Club programs.

Sunday, February 16, 2014: Tri-County Hill Hopper, Starts in Warrenton (northwest of Houston via US 290). Distances of 20, 36 and 67 miles. Benefits Camp LIFE.

Saturday, February 22, 2014: The Bulldog Bike Ride, starts at Waller Junior High (northwest of Houston via US 290). Distances of 25, 32 and 50 miles. Benefits Waller Junior High School programs.

Sunday, February 23, 2014: Sun & Ski Sports Spring Breakaway, starts at Katy Mills Mall (west of Houston via I-10). Distances of 28, 36 and 58 miles. Benefits Southern Elite competitive bicycle racing.

Saturday, March 1, 2014: Gator Ride, starts at Baytown Family YMCA (east-southeast of Houston via I-10 and TX 330). Distances of 33, 43, 51 and 62 miles. Benefits Baytown Family YMCA.

Sunday, March 2, 2014: The Plane Great Ride, starts at Montgomery High School (North-northwest of Houston via I-45, Loop 336 and TX 105). Distances of 25, 47 and 67 miles. Benefits charities supported by United Cycling Team, including We Care.

Saturday, March 8, 2014: The Raven Ride, starts in Huntsville (North of Houston via I-45). Distances of 10, 20, 33, 51 and 61 miles with Texas-y names. Benefits Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville.

Saturday, March 8, 2014: Pedal Thru the Pines, starts near Smithville (west-northwest of Houston via I-10 and TX 71). Distances of 17, 27, 47 and 62 miles. Benefits Family Crisis Center, Bastrop County.

Sunday, March 9, 2014: The Great Escape Bike Ride, starts at Manvel High School (south of Houston via TX 288 and TX 6). Distances of 43, 67 and 85 miles. Benefits Pearland Cycling Club, Brazoria Co. Sheriff's Reserves, TX Bicycle Coalition.

Saturday, March 15, 2014: B-GeO Magnolia Miles, starts at Magnolia West HS (Northwest of Houston via TX 246). Distances of 25..36. 53 and 64 miles. Benefits Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center.

Sunday, March 16, 2014: Tour de Houston, starts in downtown Houston. Distances of 20, 45 and 70 miles. Benefits Houston Parks Board

Saturday, March 22, 2014: Schlumberger Education Expedition, starts at Fort Bend ISD football stadium, Missouri City (southwest of Houston via TX 6 and/or Fort Bend Parkway). Distances unknown, last year they were 11, 53 and 79 miles. Benefits Fort Bend ISD Education Foundation. [no 2014 website]

Saturday, April 5, 2014: Katy Ram Challenge, starts at Katy Mills Mall (west of Houston via I-10). Distances of 13, 36, 47, 62 and 75 miles (2013 routes). Benefits Mayde Creek HS Band

Saturday, April 5, 2014: Spokes 'n' Spurs, starts at Liberty Hill (north of Austin via US 183). Distances of 6, 14, 28, 44 and 62.5 miles, with 5- and 10K runs for brick lovers. Benefits Spirit Reins.

Sunday, April 6, 2014: Ride to the Rescue, starts at Manvel HS (south of Houston via TX 288 and TX 6). Distances of 30, 40, 62 or 85 miles (2013 routes). Benefits local animal rescue groups. [no 2014 website]
