NEW YORK, NEW YORK—World-renowned producer and desirable EDM artist, Alex Ridha most commonly known as Boys Noize, is set to perform both Tuesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 24 at Output in Brooklyn, New York. An artist who rarely performs in the New York City area, these shows will give fans two opportunities to experience his music in an intimate venue outside of the typical festival circuit scene. EDM fans will not want to miss-out on experiencing a performance from this prolific producer’s highly-anticipated shows.
Boys Noize announced his North American tour dates and world-wide extravaganza back in September. The tour kicked off in Denver and plans to end at HARD Festival’s ‘Day of the Dead’ in Los Angeles, CA. Along with his DJ performances, Ridha has teamed up with Skrillex, to produce the unstoppable DJ duo known as Dog Blood, which has blown EDM culture and fans away with undeniable force.
Boys Noize released his Go Hard EP last June on Ridha’s independent label Boysnoize Records, with tracks ranging from: classic-rave, techno, rap, and disco-house with acid-house flair. The release immediately preceded the Boys Noize summer tour and festival appearances.
In addition, Boys Noize has recently released an app for apple devices that connects fans to his music. The app will allow people to be the first to hear brand-new tracks first before year end. For those interested in downloading the app, a link to buy it in iTunes is here: GET BRAPP ON ITUNES APP STORE.
Alex Ridha (aka Boys Noize) was first known for his influential work as a producer and remixer for Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Santigold, Scissor Sisters and Feist. Voted by Rolling Stone as one of the top 10 "DJs Who Rule the Earth," in 2012, Boys Noize has since toured the world, released three full-length albums and has collaborated with artists like Snoop Dogg, Skrillex, and Erol Alkan. "I don´t compromise when it comes to music," says Ridha. "I do what I think is cool and what I like and not what the market wants or people may expect. Maintaining artistic freedom has always been the most important thing to me; for my own music and for anyone on my label."
Boys Noize Records (BNR) was founded by Boys Noize in 2005 in order to retain his full artistic freedom while releasing his own music under Boys Noize, as well as under different monikers. Since its inception, BNR has become home to multidimensional EDM artists and visionaries. The Berlin-based anarchist collective are now celebrating their 100th deafeningly successful release, including albums and EP’s from some of the globes loudest artists.
