The Boys and Girls Club is seeking pool and billiard instructional media for the kids at the Largo-Clearwater, Florida location. Any donation of billiard magazines, videos, dvd's, and other publications would be appreciated.
I am a volunteer for the Largo/Clearwater Florida Boys and Girls Club. They just remodeled the Recreation room, which includes 6 – 4 1/2 x 9' Diamond Pool Tables and 2 6 x 12 Snooker Tables. Mike’s Billiards donated the Simonois Cloth and the Accu-Fast Rails, and the room is dressing up very nice. When the room was being made, they also included a Reading and Library room, and in this room they have, tables, shelves, multiple personal tv's and dvd's/vhs combos with headsets so the kids can watch instructional dvd's and vhs tapes of pool and billiards.
We are trying to get as many, pool and billiards, 3-cushion, snooker and any other pocket billiards related----magazines such as pool and billiards, billiards digest, american cueist, any other magazines that are pool related.
ALSO, any books that are Pool or Billiards Related would be appreciated.
I personally just donated about a two weeks ago, after I got out of the hospital, and gave my personal library to be included in the Recreation Reading room, I donated 115 Books and over 85 Magazines.
So, please reach deep and give whatever you have available to donate that the kids could learn or get some enjoyment from.

Game rooms and sports such as pool and billiards are popular pastimes in nearly all Boys and Girls Club facilities across the country, and the ability of the volunteers who work there to aid and assist kids in learning proper ways and etiquette of sports is a vital part of the entire teaching process.
