Singer Boy George the former lead singer of the 80s group Culture Club revealed his shocking weight loss success via Twitter this past Sunday according to MSN reports on Tuesday, Feb. 19 causing thousands of fans to look twice at the singer in disbelief.
Boy George, 51, who has experienced years of up and down weight issues along with and drug problems over the years, credits his recent slim-down to a rigorous, veggie-heavy diet courtesy of Amelia Freer's Freer Nutrition plan. "My secret!" he tweeted. "Portion control. 5 hour gaps between meals. No coffee or tea, except at meals. Water & fizzy water between meals! No bread, sugar!"
Boy George, who is best known for 1982 Culture Club hit single "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?." Born George Alan O'Dowd, Boy George, is now a solo artist and DJ. His most recent public appearance includes the Feb. 17 Whatsonstage.com Awards in London, where he debuted his weight loss wearing a wearing a beige baker boy hat which was decorated with buttons and wool string, George added the usual touch of glamour to his appearance with a coating of make-up outlined by a stubbly beard.
