Boy band fans will have reason to celebrate in Atlanta this June when old school is followed by new school in two back to back summer concerts.
On June 20, veteran boy band New Kids on the Block will be performing at Phillips Arena. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and the guys are gearing up to perform a mix of old hits as well as new hits from their upcoming album "10," due to release in April. Opening acts Boys II Men and 98° will also be performing some their best old school tunes along with a mix of fresh, new tracks.
Following right behind their boy band predecessors, One Direction will performing at Phillips Arena on June 21, starting at 7:30 p.m. According to band member Liam Payne, fans can expect to enjoy songs from the group's debut "Up All Night" album as well as the new songs from their sophomore "Take Me Home" album.
Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer will be the opening act. Fans may recognize the guys from their international hit "Out of My Limits."
New Kids will wrap their summer tour up on July 20 in Minneapolis. One Direction will wrap up the North America part of their tour on August 10 in Los Angeles.
