Boy, 11, brings beer-filled water bottle to school, gets arrested

An 11-year-old boy brought a water bottle filled with beer to school. The young boy brought the beer to his school in Norwegian Township, Penn. and got himself into a lot of trouble for doing so. State police were called to the school where they found the boy with the beer at the beginning of the school day. The child was taken into police custody and an investigation is pending.

Trooper Vincent A. LaSelva told reporters that the boy will be charged even though the investigation is not yet complete. The boy will be appearing in court for "under age possession or consumption of a brewed beverage." The child will likely be sent to juvenile court.

It's unclear if the boy's school has taken any disciplinary action -- either a suspension or expulsion is presumed but nothing has been confirmed at this time. It is also unclear where the boy got the beer and why he decided to bring it to school. Check out the video above for more on this story.
