Kids love birthdays. They love cake. They love tearing in to birthday gifts. They love their parties and the parties of friends and relatives. But what if a child never has a birthday party?
I was confronted with this situation when I heard about an extraordinary local fundraising event. A local organization is making the dreams of homeless children in the D.C. Metro area come true. Extra-Ordinary Birthdays was founded to create and provide personalized birthdays to D.C., Maryland, and Virginia homeless children. You can play a part in making a homeless child's birthday wishes come true by supporting the 3rd Annual Bowling Extravaganza.
