Bowl tomorrow to help rescue cats

A fundraiser for the Purrs & Paws cat and kitten rescue and adoption organization, a no-kill animal shelter in Lake George, will be held at the Spare Time bowling center in South Glens Falls on Thursday, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tickets are $12 each and include two hours of open bowling and free shoe rental.

As part of the fundraiser, there will be special prizes, a food and cash bar, and contests.

Funds raised will help continue Purrs and Paws work of rescuing stray, lost, and abandoned cats and adopting them into loving homes.

Pre-registration is recommended. To reserve a lane or make a donation, call 747-6228 or 798-4592.

The event is sponsored by H&R Block.
