Bowl predictions for 2013 include two more Pac-12 games. These latest 2013 bowl predictions come from the Sun Bowl and AdvoCare V100 Bowl on Tuesday (Dec. 31). According to a report from The Seattle Times late Sunday (Dec. 29), Arizona and UCLA are both picked to win their respective games. That would give the conference two more postseason wins this year.
In the Arizona vs. Boston College AdvoCare V100 Bowl, two teams with similar seasons are matched up. The two schools both finished the regular season with 7-5 records and come into this game on pretty equal footing. The Arizona Wildcats are favored by the oddsmakers to win the game, but Paul Withers of The Seattle Times thinks this game is going to be a close one. It should be a very interesting battle of two of the top running backs in college football this season. Arizona’s Ka’Deem Carey ran for 1,716 yards this season and BC’s Andre Williams had 2,102.
The UCLA vs. Virginia Tech Sun Bowl has two better teams on the field, with the Bruins coming in as the No. 17 ranked team in the country. they finished 9-3 overall with a nice 6-3 mark in Pac-12 play. The Hokies are 8-4 overall with a 5-3 mark in ACC play. The Bruins are favored to win the game, but many analysts are suggesting this game won't be close. Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley is the one to watch in this game because he is projected to be a good NFL pick.
These 2013 bowl predictions are for two games that will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 31. The Arizona vs. Boston College game is at 9:30 a.m. PT on ESPN and is followed by UCLA vs. Virginia Tech at 11:00 a.m. PT on CBS.
