Jazz up your New Year’s Eve celebration with “New Year’s Jazzin’ EVE: An Enchanted Evening of Dinner and Dancing” with world-renowned jazz vocalist Eve Cornelious and the Chip Crawford Trio. Start with a seasonally inspired four-course menu of soups, salads, entrées and desserts followed by dancing to jazz standards and favorites. A Champagne toast at midnight will help ring in 2014. If you prefer to begin an elegant evening at the Inn with a prix-fixe dinner created by Executive Chef Jason Cunningham and his team,“It’s Midnight Somewhere: The Sophisticated Dinner” takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and includes a choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert sampling. Pianist Chris Keller will fill the room with holiday favorites, including “Auld Lang Syne,” played on the hotel’s baby grand. Dinner is $45 per person. More focused on college football? Then step into the Bull Durham Bar, which will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve serving its new winter seasonal menu. Plus, the bar will present the Chick-fil-A Bowl showdown between the No. 22 Duke Blue Devils and No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies being played in Atlanta on the big screen. Airing on ESPN, game kickoff is at 8 p.m.

The fun continues on the first day of the new year as the Vista Restaurant serves an enhanced breakfast buffet from 7 a.m. - noon including New Year’s Day favorites like hoppin’ John. The Bull Durham Bar and Fairview restaurant will operate on its normal hours New Year’s Day.
