July 4 - Bowie’s Fourth of July Celebration. Join the City of Bowie for their annual Fourth of July Celebration! The City is partnering with the Bowie Baysox again this year to host its celebration at Prince George’s Stadium. There will be fireworks and a concert by the Fabulous Hubcaps. Admission and parking is free. Doors open at 6 p.m.

July 5 - July 6- Tropic Bay Water Gardens 13th Anniversary: Summer Splash Party!. Celebrate our 13th Anniversary with fun for the whole family! Including prizes, giveaways, refreshments, koi sale, special sales throughout the store, "ask the pond expert" and so much more! Saturday and Sunday.

July 3 - July 31 - Live Music at The Blackwall Hitch. Check out all the great live music in July at The Blackwall Hitch every Wednesday - Saturday. Free. July 6 - Summer Concert Series at Historic London Town and Gardens. Enjoy a variety of music in our ornamental gardens. Bring your own blankets and chairs. Bring a picnic to enjoy. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought on site but beer, wine and other beverages will be available for sale. Held rain or shine. Free.

June 28 - American Roots Night at 49 West Coffeehouse. This month's American Roots Night, in the back room of 49 West Coffeehouse, features Gary Wright on electric and acoustic guitars and vocals, Leah Weiss on fiddle, guitar, and vocals, Ahren Buchheister on pedal steel, dobro, mandolin, and vocals, and special g uest Jimmy Jacobs on piano. Reservations are recommended. Tickets, $12.

July 3 - July 19 - ASGT presents "SHOUT! The Mod Musical". Set in London, SHOUT! travels in time from 1960 to 1970 following five women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s during the dawning liberation of women. With an irresistible blend of foot-stomping songs, eye-popping fashions, and psychedelic dances, this delightful musical – which opened off-Broadway in 2006 and has toured the world – will make you want to throw your head back and SHOUT! Tickets, $20.
