Houston's West U neighborhood has a new place to shop, and it's really posh! Julie Rhodes, veteran retailer and interior designer opened her doors to the public last week for a swank opening party. Fashion Bloggers, designers, new and loyal clients descended upon her new store to celebrate the opening. Julie's store is the answer to what Houstonian's have been looking for: Unique apparel and decor native to Houston. Julie is adamant about stocking her store with garments from designers that manufacture in the U.S. One of the labels she carries in the store, is Crop by Houston's very own David Peck, who manufactures all of his apparel here in Houston. She also carries brands that no other stores in Houston have, offering something new and exciting to the Houston fashionistas.
Shopping at Julie Rhodes will be a great experience for customers. The space is gorgeous, inviting, & uncluttered solidifying Julie's talent in design. You can tell Julie put a lot of thought into the layout and decor of the shop to enable her stylist approach to shopping for her client. It's more of a collaboration, where they talk decor and apparel and Julie can discover the needs of her customer. She has clients that come to her months before an event and chat with her about what to wear. If she doesn't have it, she'll go on a mission to find it for them. I briefly mentioned to her that I wanted a shirt in size that she was out of and that same evening she was emailing me about the shirt! Everything from jewelry to baby blankets are available at Julie Rhodes Fashion & Home. I'm looking forward to my next stop at her store. Be sure to stop by her new shop: 6209 Edloe Street, Houston, TX 77005. You can also follow Julie on Facebook!
