Shortly after Weise assisted on Bourque's hat trick goal, he was hit hard by Rangers' defenseman John Moore, who received a major penalty for the infraction. Weise got up under the assistance of teammate P.K. Subban.

Bourque played for the Calgary Flames from 2008-2012 before being traded from Calgary to Montreal with Patrick Holland and a second round draft pick for Mike Cammalleri, Karri Ramo and a fifth round draft pick on January 12, 2012.
