The Dog Park Improvement Group is hosting a fundraiser for local dog parks this June 2. The Boulevard DIGs Dogparks event promises to be a fun event for a great cause.
Boulevard Brewing Co., the sponsor for the event, will be pouring a selection of their beers and offering food to the crowd. Hurry to get your tickets, however, as they are only selling 40 total tickets and they must be purchased in advance.
There will be a raffle with great prizes like a City Pets gift certificate. A silent auction will be held as well, with 10% of all money raised going to the local shelter Halfway Home to add to their medical fund, and to maintain the dogpark at Penn Valley.
DIG is a non profit group dedicated to the maintenance and improvement of the Penn Valley Dogpark in Kansas City, Mo. DIG has worked hard this past year creating a small dog area within the park, planting trees and ensuring the park is clean.
