Articles and awards in the entrance of Foolish Craig’s boast of the restaurant’s reputation for epic crepes. Rightfully so. It doesn’t matter whether savory or sweet, the secret is in the flat crepe itself- that light, thin pancake holding everything from mushrooms to fruit. Epic crepes abound, but so does a menu of typical café food, including burgers, salads, and breakfast options. There’s a noticeable health and vegetarian consciousness here, too, making the restaurant a great option for groups of diverse eaters. And though not as good as the crepes, the dinner menu ventures into seasonal American dishes, easily paired with beers on tap, cocktails, or wine, and is great for a low-key night out. As a note for those looking for a hangover cure, Foolish Craig’s also claims to make Boulder’s best Bloody Mary. Paired with a breakfast crepe, it should do the trick.
