Boulder restaurant event: Bulleit Bourbon dinner at West End Tavern

Monday and Tuesday are historically slow nights for dining, but they’re also some of the best nights to patronize a restaurant. Besides not having to fight a crowd for a table, Mondays and Tuesdays oft bring opportunities to eat well for less.

Next Tuesday, for instance, The West End Tavern, the restaurant with the best bourbon list in Boulder, is hosting a dinner featuring Tom Bulleit. The dinner features 4 courses of Southern favorites, including shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes, paired with signature cocktails made with Bulleit bourbon. Tom Bulleit will be on hand to talk about bourbon-making and his particular brand.

For $55, diners get four courses, cocktail pairings, and some semblance of education. Seriously, worth it.

March 2, cocktails at 6:30, dinner at 7
