Just a block from Boulder's Pearl Street Mall, Buffalo Exchange is a hipster's mecca - racks of retro and vintage gently used fashions, mixed in with newer trends. Find a super cool outfit for a stroll along the Mall or the perfect Halloween costume.
Buffalo Exchange was started in 1974 in Tucson, Arizona as the first resale store and has grown considerably since then, with 35 stores and two franchises (including the Boulder store) across the country. The Boulder store has the benefit of a fashion-forward reseller base, so customers will find brands like Coach, Prada, Joe's Jeans, True Religion, and Seven for All Mankind, along with one-of-a-kind retro styles.
As a resale store, Buffalo Exchange gives resellers cash or store credit on the spot for items they take - 50% of the selling price in store credit or 30% in cash. Because of the high volume of potential resellers the Boulder store is currently seeing, they are more discerning about the items they will take. If you're looking to resell, think about what would appeal to a trendy teen or twenty-something Boulder crowd. Browse the store first and talk with the staff about what kinds of things they are looking for.
