Both candidates at this week's Charleston Dem Women meeting

With the primary election only two weeks away, Democratic voters who want to learn more about their party’s candidates will have a great opportunity to do so this week.

Elizabeth Colbert-Busch and Ben Frasier will participate in a forum at this month’s meeting of the Charleston County Democratic Women. Hosted at the top floor of the Holiday Inn River View (301 Savannah Hwy. in Charleston), registration starts at 6 p.m. this Thurs., March 7.

The $15 fee for the buffet dinner, which starts at 6:30 p.m., includes tip.

Colbert-Busch and Frasier will answer questions directly from attendees, who are requested to RSVP by contacting Precious Samuel, vice president of CCDW (precious.samuel4@gmail.com or 843.557.2201).

The meeting will also include topics of the group’s upcoming executive committee elections and National Women’s History Month.

The two candidates will compete in the Democratic primary on March 19, with the winner going on the face the Republican nominee in a May 7 final election.
