The Botanical Center in Des Moines welcomes the Easter Bunny on April 16th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Also included in the day’s activities is the annual “Egg Cookoff”, sponsored by the Iowa Egg Council. Egg-related crafts and activities will be available to kids of all ages, and the Easter Bunny will be handing out treats. On April 22nd, from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Earth Day is being celebrated by offering visitors free admission all day long. Membership is not required to enjoy this special day, members have access to special benefits around the Botanical Center.
