Boston terrier missing after car accident

Update Feb. 9: Wendy has been found. But it’s not the good news everyone hoped for. Read more here.

Wendy, a nine-year-old Boston terrier, has been missing since a car accident on Monday.

Esther Jung was driving on I-71 near Mock Road when icy roads caused her car to slide out of control then flip over. Jung was knocked unconscious. When she awoke, Wendy was missing. The little dog had escaped through a rear broken window.

No one else was in the car.

Jung is concerned that Wendy won’t be able to survive in the cold and snow in this rural area. The dog has been a part of the family for eight years, and they are anxious to find her.
