On Sunday, June 22, 2014, it's Boston Rocks for the "Music Drives Us" fund raiser at the Paradise Rock Club, 967 Commonwealth Ave, Boston. The legendary Boston music scene of the 70's, 80's and 90's will come together to raise money for Music Drives Us, a non-profit organization which supplies grants to music programs, live performances, music scholarship programs and individuals interested in using music as a tool to better peoples lives.

Last year close to 2000 people flew in from all over the world to celebrate the Channel Reunion Concert! This year it's BOSTON ROCKS for MUSIC DRIVES US!

Ernie Boch Jr., president, founder and director created Music Drives us, along with his family back in 2006, which has since donated to over 150 organizations throughout New England. Boch wanted to help support music programs and also prevent music education in schools from being cut due to budget reductions. Grants are given for Musical Performance, for individuals who want to share their passion for music through free concerts in the community. An Organizational Grant which supports musical education through assistance in creating dedicated music rooms in which others can learn music. The Scholarship Grant seeks out worthy scholarship recipients in the New England area to receive monetary scholarships to attend music camps, programs, and colleges.

Boston Rocks for Music Drives Us will reunite beloved Boston musicians who put the Boston music scene on the map. Notable artists such as, James Montgomery with his Supergroup, Danny Klein of J Geils, Barry Goudreau formerly of the band Boston, David Hull of Aerosmith and Farrenheit, Charlie Farren of Balloon and Farrenheit, Hirsh Gardner of New England along with surprise guests.

Bands include Shake the Faith. They came, they rocked, they broke up and now they're back! Lizzie Borden & the Axes, The Fighting Cocks, a new band out of Boston Bearstronaut, a band that caught our ears. Opening our show will be Charlie Farren, Amanda Carr and Jon Finn will perfom Boston's new Anthem "STRONG". A couple of the for mentioned bands will also have some surprise guests joining them for a special twist.
