Boston Red Sox: Food and drink specials at Fenway Park during April home games

The Boston Red Sox are promoting a Welcome Back Offer for home games in April targeting children and families.

Kids Eat Free: Children 14 and under can receive a free Fenway Frank, bag of Goldfish, and carton of Juice at stands from the time gates open through the end of the third inning.

Offers for adults:

  1. Fenway Franks: Two for the price of one
  2. Hot chocolate: Half price
  3. Draft Beer: $5 for 12 ounce domestic draft beers for the first time since 2004 (must have proper identification)

Note: All items will be available at designated stands throughout Fenway Park.

As many Red Sox fans are aware games have been sold out for years, but for various reasons including a lackluster 69-93 season in 2012 including roster and coach changes, tickets still are available for several games this month. Seventeen of the first 24 games are at home this season, including seven games versus division rivals Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays.

As temperatures continue to rise throughout the Spring and Summer, more Red Sox games will sell out, so now is a great time to purchase tickets for an April home game and take advantage of the Welcome Back offer. Before you head over to Fenway Park, just make sure to wear warm clothing, and perhaps enjoy a couple of 2-for-1 Fenway Franks and a cup of half price hot chocolate at the game.

For fans and families who are budget conscious, costs for experiencing a Red Sox game at Fenway can add up, and beyond concessions there are many ways to save money including transport, parking and seat selection. Check out this article for handy tips.

Finally, part of the fun is in the planning, so before you go to Fenway take some time to explore the pages on the Red Sox website, especially the Fan Forum, where you will find all sorts of information on rewards, extras, experiences, Red Sox Kids and more.

So now is the time to purchase your tickets, plan your Fenway experience and take advantage of the Welcome Back Offer.

Go Sox!
