Due to the threat of Hurricane Arthur, The Boston Pops has rescheduled their celebration at the DCR Hatch Shell! On Thursday, July 3, the lights and the sky will alight with the Boston Pops conducted by Keith Lockhart on the Charles River Esplanade, 376 Boylston Street in Boston, Massachusetts at 8:30 p.m.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the concert schedule has changed. The legendary boys of summer who made their debut 50 years ago, ‘The Beach Boys,’ will bring in the sun and surf rock onto the Esplanade! With their catchy, classic hits such as ‘Good Vibrations,’ ‘Surfin’ U.S.A,’ ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice,’ and ‘Kokomo.’ Mike Love, Bruce Johnson, Christian Love, Randell Kirch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, and Mike Scott Totten will take the Esplanade stage.

Having made her debut with the Boston Pops last year, Megan Hilty will once again perform with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops! Television and Broadway star Megan Hilty not only captivated audiences in Broadway musicals such as ‘Wicked,’ ‘9 to 5: The Musical,’ and ‘Gentleman Prefer Blondes,’ but her stunning performance in the television show ‘Smash’ made her a household name.

The Boston Children’s Chorus will also take the stage! Due to scheduling conflicts, the stars of Lexus Broadway in Boston’s ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre are not able to perform.

Sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance, ‘The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular’ has enraptured audiences and become a monumental family tradition that attracts a half a million people a year from around the world!

From home, see the live broadcast on WBZ-TV, hosted by WBZ-TV news anchors Lisa Hughes and Jonathan Elias at 8 p.m. Join the Boston Pops for their first live webcast of ‘Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular’ by clicking here.
