Boston police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with at least eight robberies in the East Boston area and surrounding towns.
The male suspect has allegedly committed five armed robberies in which he displayed a weapon, three robberies in which he was believed to have a weapon and one unarmed robbery.
In addition to the Boston Police Department, the police departments of Lynn, Chelsea and Everett are also actively investigating incidents believe to involved the suspect in their communities.
He is described as a middle-aged African American wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark jacket, dark jeans and sunglasses. In most of the incidents he either displayed or implied that he was carrying a firearm and demanded money. The dates, incidents and locations of the incidents being investigated are:
• 02/02/13 – Armed Robbery – Jenny’s Convenience – 78 Henry Avenue Lynn
• 03/02/13 – Armed Robbery – Mobile Gas Station – 512 Chestnut St. Lynn
• 02/04/13 – Robbery – Richdale Store – 585 Essex St. Lynn
• 02/07/13 – Robbery – Quick Stop Variety – 621 Western Ave. Lynn
• 02/11/13 – Robbery – Essex Market – 99 Essex St. Lynn
• 02/19/13 – Armed Robbery – Lincoln Market – 200 Essex St. Lynn
• 02/24/13- Armed Robbery – Corner Market) – 803 Broadway Chelsea
• 03/07/13 – Unarmed Robbery – Mobile Gas Station – 470 Meridian St East Boston, MA
• 3/10/13 – Armed Robbery – 7-11 – 543 Ferry St, Everett
