Boston comedian Corey Manning featured on Nickelodeon Saturday, March 2

Boston-based comedian by night and superhero by day Corey Manning recently honored his mom and “embarrassed” his son in his national television debut on Nick Jr’s “Nickmom Night Out”. Manning’s performance on “NickMom Night Out” (Chicago Episode 5) Season 1, Episode 19 re-airs on Saturday March 2 at 11:00 p.m. EST.

Manning is featured in season one of Nick Jr.’s “NickMom Night Out Comedy”, a stand-up comedy show that takes moms out for a night of laughter at the comedy club. As a comedian Manning has worked or toured with comedians such as Kevin Hart, Bobbie Collins, Mo'Nique, Jim Florentine, Tracey Morgan, and Bill Burr. As a superhero he provides workshops on substance abuse prevention to teens and adults around the world. Known for his "slick, upbeat, funny, over-the-top comedy," Manning will be hosting a comedy show on Sunday March 24 at the Ledge Kitchen & Drinks in Dorchester, MA.

Nickelodeon launched original primetime shows under the programming block NickMom in October 2012. The highly popular and successful Nick Jr. now changes its program format every night at 10:00 p.m. EST to “NickMom”, a mix of original long- and short-form humor-based programming, including talk shows, stand-up and sketch comedy, hidden camera and more.

“NickMom Night Out” (26 episodes) a part of NickMom (Nick Jr’s) late night block, is a stand-up comedy show that takes moms out for a night at the comedy club and features comedians Caroline Rhea, Tisha Cambell-Martin, Bonnie McFarlane, Lavell Crawford, Jim Breuer and Corey Manning all offering their humorous takes on parenting.
