Top-ranked men’s basketball team Syracuse has a rematch with old foe Boston College tonight in the Carrier Dome. Game time is set for 7 p.m. BC gave the ‘Cuse all they could handle in Boston in the teams first meeting as ACC foes. BC (6-19, 2-10 ACC) has since lost five straight and are 1-9 on the road this season. SU (25-0, 12-0 ACC) have struggled mightily on the offensive end and have had to pull out some game ending wins. They also travel for a rematch with Duke on Saturday so the team needs to find some offense starting tonight.
- Syracuse will unveil their new Nike Hyper Elite Dominance uniforms this evening. They feature the classic cursive ‘Syracuse’ script first unveiled in 1984 when ‘The Pearl’ came to town. Pearl Washington will be on hand for the game. The new navy blue Hyper Elite Shorts remix past with future and feature trim details reminiscent of the 2002-03 uniform shorts worn by SU's National Championship team. The block letter 'S' on the sides have appeared on a variety of shorts through the decades and remain on the current uniforms. The contrasting jersey-short colors are bold, yet strategic; a symbolic tribute to Syracuse's 1918 team that was top in the country. That memorable team wore dark jerseys and light shorts while becoming the Helms Athletic Foundation national champion. (Source – Cuse.com)
