Boston Calling Music Festival announces the final addition to their 2014 Lineup!
The Decemberists will take the stage on Saturday, May 24th, for the first time in 3 years! Plus, this will be their first and only festival appearance in 2014, which simply adds to the excitement of having them perform.
The Decemberists, an indie folk rock band, from Portland, Oregon are best known for: "The Apology Song" (from 5 Songs EP, 2001); “Red Right Ankle” (from Her Majesty The Decemberists, 2003); “On The Bus Mall” (from Picaresque, 2005) and “Don’t Carry It All” (from The King Is Dead, 2011).
They will be joining a fantastic lineup which includes (in no particular order): The Neighbourhood, Walk off the Earth, Maximo Park, Magic Man, Jack Johnson, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Cass McCombs, Death Cab For Cutie, The Head and the Heart, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, Jenny Lewis, Warpaint, Modest Mouse, Brand New, Bastille, Tegan and Sara, Phosphorescent, Built to Spill, Kurt Vile and The Violators, The Districts, Tigerman WOAH!
Another very cool thing! Samuel Adams will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary at the Boston Calling Music Festival, which will give guests access to their many thirst quenching brews. In addition, VIP ticket holders will be given prime views of the main stage by having access to City Hall Courtyard, while being served complimentary food from Hard Rock Cafe Boston. How cool is that! Don't forget, there are no overlaps - therefore no worries about missing your fave band perform!
