According to a report from VG 24/7 today, Batman: Arkahm Origins Blackgate players can not only determine what order to take on the game’s bosses, but how you chose the order affects what ending the game gives.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate director Mark Pacini said the game is meant to be played three times though in order to experience all endings.
“You can play the game three times through, get different things each time and the ending is different each time,” Pacini said. “Along with that we have suits that are only unlockable playing in a certain order. Each suit has a particular perk to it.”
Pacini compared the game to Mega Man in the sense of choosing bosses in a particular order, but departs from the game in terms of getting items not in the order players kill bosses but instead due to whom they leave for last.
The first run though the game should take players roughly 10 hours.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate drops for the Nintendo 3DS and the PS Vita on Oct. 25.
