Boros Reckoner is one of the newest hybrid cards from Wizards of the Coast's latest expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Gatecrash."

Whenever Boros Reckoner is dealt damage, it deals that much damage to target creature or player.
[R/W]: Boros Reckoner gains first strike until end of turn.

Boros Reckoner brutalizes opponents by creating a no-win scenario when it comes time for combat. Do they block? If they do, they'll still be taking damage.

Thanks to first strike Boros Reckoner can take down one of the most ubiquitous creatures in the format: Thragtusk. It can also become downright dirty when paired with Stonewright.

One neat trick with Boros Reckoner is to gain infinite life with a three to four card combo. Boros Reckoner will need to have lifelink by pairing it with Nearheath Pilgrim or from another card like Angelic Skirmisher. When it's about to take damage in combat make it indestructible with Boros Charm. You'll be able to target Boros Reckoner with its own ability over and over again gaining infinite life. If your opponent doesn't block you can always initiate the combo yourself with a burn spell such as Searing Spear.

Here's a fun deck list to try out the combo for yourself.
