Born of the Gods spoilers: Mogis himself from GatheringMagic

This particular spoiler needs no introduction. GatheringMagic is one of the biggest non-official sites during every rumor season; and everyone reading this article (hopefully) knows who Mogis - black and red Theran god, lord of bloodlust, patron of Minotaurs, and all-around nasty guy - is. So here's the text of one of the most brutal god in the pantheon, who definitely does not disappoint in card form:

Mogis, God of Slaughter 2BR

Legendary Enchantment Creature - God (Mythic)

Indestructible

As long as your devotion to black and red is less than seven, Mogis isn't a creature.

At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, Mogis deals 2 damage to that player unless he or she sacrifices a creature.

7/5

Four mana would be a pretty good price purely for an indestructible enchantment with Mogis's triggered ability: It screams "deal with this right now or this game is going to end way sooner than you expected." Well, it screams a lot of things, because Mogis just likes screaming. It puts one in mind of Sulfuric Vortex, only even Stax-ier.

But then there are his stats. Seven power. That's "kills by commander damage in three hits" seven. That's "kills in regular Magic in three hits" seven. And it's by no means hard to hit enough devotion to black and red by the time Mogis gets out to start swinging on your next turn... by which time your opponents will be either down 2 life or short a blocker. Funny how these things work - and you can't spell slaughter without laughter!

Besides the obvious "hilariously" "fun" applications of Mogis at the EDH table, I can also see him doing a lot of work in Standard for black-red midrange decks, or even, Nyx forbid, a truly nasty black-red control build that may arise.

What do you think of the God of Slaughter? Let me know in the comments.
