'Borderlands 2' will be getting a new character, level cap increase coming

Upon the initial release of “Borderlands 2,” which is shown above, Gearbox released DLC that contained an additional character to access throughout the campaign mode for the game. Through releasing this character, which is called “The Mechromancer,” Gearbox found great success and excited many fans of the game.

In discussing the implementation of additional character classes being added to “Borderlands 2,” on Nov. 11, Randy Pitchford has gave us hope for the addition of another class at a later date. In response to a fans inquiry about this topic, Pitchford insists, via Twitter, that there will definitely be another character added to “Borderlands 2.”

In other “Borderlands 2” news, a statement has been given on the official forums for Gearbox in relation to the level cap that is currently in “Borderlands 2.” The following statement has been provided by Gearbox:

Currently, the level cap for Borderlands 2 is set at 50. We are exploring the possibility of raising the level cap further in the future, but do not have any details to share at this time.

This is something that many fans have been asking Gearbox to implement, as it seems that fans may be receiving this wish in the near future.
