‘Borderlands 2’ new character update provided by Gearbox Software (Photos)

Randy Pitchford has provided a small update in regards to the possibility of a new character in the recently-released multiplatform video game, “Borderlands 2.” When a fan asked if someone new would be added to the open-world cooperative role-playing title, the CEO of Gearbox Software responded on Feb. 21 through Twitter by saying that it is almost a certainty. He also revealed that his studio is currently working on the downloadable content. Borderlands 2” came out for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in North America on Sept. 18 as well as the Mac system on Nov. 20 of last year. The direct sequel to “Borderlands” features five playable characters, one of which (Gaige the Mechromancer) was released as downloadable content.
