‘Borderlands 2’ level cap increase release date update posted (Photos)

Randy Pitchford has provided a new update in regards to the level cap increase for the recently-released multiplatform title, “Borderlands 2.” According to a message on his Twitter page on Feb. 28, the CEO of Gearbox Software is unsure if they will be able to raise the maximum level to above 50 by the end of March. This is because they underestimated the amount of work required to patch the Mac, PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game. You can check out some screens from the latest installment in the “Borderlands” series in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Randy Pitchford below (courtesy of DuvalMagic Twitter):

We'll see. It's turned out to be a huge amount of work.

The level cap increase was originally planned to arrive for “Borderlands 2” sometime during the first-quarter of 2013.

“Borderlands 2” launched by 2k Games for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in the North American region on Sept. 18, 2012. The sequel was then ported to the Mac system approximately two months later on Nov. 20. You can order the title in the following link: “Borderlands 2”
