‘Borderlands 2’ gets post-launch discount

An online retailer is currently offering a modest post-launch discount for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the recently-released multiplatform title, “Borderlands 2.” Amazon has slashed 17%, or $10.00 off of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price tag for the open-world cooperative role-playing game. As a result, you can get the console copies for just $49.99 each. Not to mention that both products are also eligible for free shipping. In addition to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, “Borderlands 2” also came out for the PC platform in North America on Sep. 18. The sequel was developed by Gearbox Software, the same studio behind the first “Borderlands” title in addition to “Duke Nukem Forever,” the” Half Life” expansions and “Brothers in Arms” series.
