Gearbox Software announced yesterday that another round of hot fixes has been sent out for their popular co-op shooter, “Borderlands 2.” The temporary game update will automatically apply the next time users start up the game while connected to the internet. Among other issues, the power of Seraph Gear from the game’s first two campaign DLC add-ons, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty and Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, have now been re-balanced and players will find the specialty gear to be more powerful. Considering the only way to acquire this gear is to defeat “Borderlands 2’s” toughest enemies, it seems fair that gamers are rewarded for tackling the DLC raid bosses.
The hot fix will automatically apply the next time “Borderlands 2” owners start up the game while connected to the internet. The game update is available immediately and provides temporary relieve from game issues until a full patch can be deployed. The changes made by hot fixes will only take effect while playing with a constant internet connection.
"Borderlands 2" is out now on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. The game's first three campaign DLC add-ons are also now available for download.
