Gearbox Software announced today that they are commemoration Valentine’s Day in their popular co-op shooter, “Borderlands 2,” by throwing their own romance-themed holiday in-game with Mad Moxxi’s Loverpalooza. Moxxi has just about dated everyone on Pandora at some point, making the bar owner the perfect spokeswoman for the romantic holiday. Gearbox has handed out a round of special Shift Codes that players may enter on the game’s main menu to redeem a special set of skins a new shotgun.
Those who enter the Loverpalooza code will be given a pink-skinned outfit for each of the game’s playable character classes including the DLC added Mechromancer class. In addition to being able to deck out their Vault Hunter’s in the loving color of holiday, players who redeem the code will also be given a level appropriate version of Moxxi’s Heart Breaker Shotgun which features decals of the lady herself right on the body of the weapon.
Fans need to simply enter the following Loverpalooza Shift Code into the “Borderlands 2” title menu of the appropriate system.

“Borderlands 2” is now available to purchase on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
