One more gaming company has announced that they won’t be attending this year’s E3 event. According to a report by Kotaku on April 27, 2K Games has officially informed fans that they won’t have a presence at the major gaming expo. News that 2K Games won’t have a booth at E3 follows word that Nintendo has opted out of having a press conference at the event this year.
2K Games publishes several hit games. Their two most notable recent releases include the Gearbox Software developed “Borderlands 2” and Irrational Games’ “Bioshock Infinite.” Other titles published under the label include games in the “Spec Ops” and “XCOM” franchises.
Just because the publisher is choosing not to appear at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year, fans should rest easy that news will still be coming forth of upcoming 2K Games titles, they simply won’t be coming from an official booth on the floor of E3 2013.
