Our constitution is designed for the will of the majority to rule based on the right to vote. So 51 % control the country but who is the 51% is only bound by the voters being citizens in good standing. Anyone and everyone is eligible to be a naturalized citizen after entering our country either by legal means or some form of amnesty or fruition. Anchor babies become voters that exercise the belief of their illegal parents.
There are 206 million Americans eligible to vote and out of those 146 million are actually registered. That being said any other nationality that aimed at taking this country over only needs a 100 million plus colonizers to control America and transform it into whatever they desire. Two nations have enough population to achieve this, the Muslims and the Asians with 1 and 2 billion people respectively.
If that isn’t bad enough our porous borders both south and north are potential entry points for weapons of mass destruction which those who aim to harm us exploit. Make no mistake mass carnage is a matter of when not if. Four pounds of Anthrax can kill 300 thousand plus Americans.
And then there is the war on drugs and the borders are the only thing between us and the cartels that flood our society with their goods. Our course it’s our weakness for drugs that creates the demand so that is on us. But demand means profit and it’s all about money on both sides of the border.
Less mentioned yet still growing exponentially is human trafficking for cheap labor and sex. This only exists in a porous border environment. So if all these bad things can only happen to us due to porous borders then why are our borders so porous?
Are we incapable of securing our borders? We have the resources to lock down our borders and regulate each and everyone who crosses. Not only do we have the technology but we also have the man power within our armed forces. The only real task of the federal government is to insure the domestic tranquility yet we fail at it. Could it be the profits of the illegal activities of the porous border are shared by those in power and thus overlooked? Common sense would dictate yes because if the goal was to eliminate all foreign threats to our sovereignty, all illegal drugs, and all human trafficking we surely could do it. It appears that we are not at war with drugs, terrorism, and exploitation but indeed partners and accessories’ in crime. It appears greed, pride, lust, envy, sloth, anger, and gluttony have over come doing the right things.
