Carlos Boozer will miss his third straight game with a strained left calf.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said the power forward is “day-to-day.” Boozer had listed tonight as a possible return date.
Taj Gibson will get his seventh start of the season. In those starts, Gibson has averaged 18.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.9 blocks.
The Bulls will try and for the second time this season to stop former teammate Kyle Korver’s streak of games with a three-pointer made, which is at 118.
Korver is averaging 12 points and four rebounds per game while shooting 46.3 percent from three.
“He’s been doing it for a long time, so you have to give him a lot of credit,” Thibodeau said. “He keeps getting better and better every year. I think that’s a mark of his preparation, his dive, his intelligence, work ethic and determination. That’s why he’s been a winning player throughout his career.”
